August 1st, The Roller Coaster

Hit the roller coaster in the morning.  It should have been called the rock garden.  I rolled my ankle pretty good around lunch time.  Not to many good water sources out here but I'll make due.  Was going to try to make it to Harpers Ferry today but that plan got scrubbed when a storm came in. camped 8 miles from town.  Met a bunch of Sobos and section hikers fresh out of Harpers.  Fresh meat, with life still in their eyes I dared not tell them of the hardship they must face, poor sobos.  Harpers tomorrow!
