Gatlinburg TN

Yesterday I hiked 12.5 miles from Silers Bald to Newfound Gap, which is where Tennessee and North Carolina meet. Tried getting a shuttle to pick me up and take me to Gatlinburg but didn't have any luck. Was able to get a ride from someone who took me to the NOC, a camping outfitter. Turns out they didn't have a large enough trail runner shoe. I'm just gonna have to make due until I hit another town. Gatlinburg is very touristy but it's got all the good restaurants I could hope for. Staying a cheap motel for an extra day so I can rest up and be ready for more.
