July 19-20 Pure Hiking

Nothing exciting since leaving Daleville. Just pure hiking. Reef has fallen behind , and I don't know of he will catch up. Pushing on to Buena Vista, for food and Batman! Terrain isn't bad, but water is still hard to find. Will continue on.

  6. Hi ho! I was doing a short one-nighter in VA and stayed at Harper's Creek shelter. Ran into Reef there (hooked him up with water, as all they had there was a dirty puddle), and he's been really logging some miles as of late. I suspect you'll be seeing him pretty soon! (He seemed to be in good spirits, and is looking forward to getting out of VA as soon as possible).

Best of luck to you on your thru-hike!

  7. Hey Bigfoot! I hope your nero in Front Royal was awesome and with lots of food. I made it all the way back (all that uphill was tough stuff) to the shelter that we stayed at the night before...luckily. I just got back home and found out that I could've kept going North with you instead of backtracking all those miles. Dang. Keep on keepin' on!!!
